Winners in Icelandair Hotel Loftleidir Drawing Contest
Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura (formerly Loftleidir) recently hosted a drawing contest for children in 6th grade in connection to the Reykjavik Children‘s Culture Festival. The theme was: My favourite Icelandic bird – which was an ideal topic because over the next year, one of Iceland‘s biggest bird collections will be on display at Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura.
The artists Birgir Snaebjorn Birgisson and Olof Nordal selected six winners. The winners along with their parents and siblings were invited to a reception at the hotel on April 25th. The winners received an award document, the new edition of Guinness Book of Records and a gift certificate for one night accommodation and breakfast at Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura for the whole family, in the Sultan-Family room. The room is named after the tallest man in the world, Sultan Kosen, which stayed at the hotel last year.
