Icelandair Hotel Akureyri opens
Icelandair Hotels are happy to announce the arrival of a newcomer to their family of hotels around the country of Iceland. Icelandair Hotel Akureyri will open on June 10th 2011, and proudly present 63 brand new rooms, restaurant and a bar to visitors of Akureyri.
The new hotel will be located at Þingvallastræti 23, which is beside the town‘s main camping site, just across the street to the local swimming pool.
The Icelandair Hotels are no longer a part of the official Icelandic star rating system, but all our hotels adhere to strict quality control and joint supervision. Same rules will apply to the newest member, which will share same standard and same prices as already published for the other Icelandairhotels in the countryside for the coming season. An addition to already published contract rates with all price details will be sent seperately.
Icelandair Hotels is Iceland‘s premier hotel chain. Other hotels within the chain are: Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura and Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Marina in Reykjavik, Icelandair Hotel Hengill at Nesjavellir, Icelandair Hotel Fludir, Icelandair Hotel Hamar in Borgarnes, Icelandair Hotel Klaustur, Icelandair Hotel Herad in Egilsstadir and Icelandair Hotel in Keflavik.
The hotels share a one stop shop booking department located in Reykjavik.
